However, some epoxy resins are not resistant to acid-alkali, such as inorganic acids, nitrous acid, and aqua regia. The concentration of other types of acids should not exceed 70%, and alkalis can withstand 50% concentration. Therefore, epoxy rich zinc primer is generally used in slightly acidic or slightly alkaline environments and is not suitable for strong acid-alkali environments.

When epoxy rich zinc primer is used in acid-alkali environments, it is generally necessary to match with other intermediate paint and topcoat to achieve better anticorrosive effects. Generally, chlorinated rubber topcoat, epoxy topcoat, YunTie intermediate paint, and epoxy rich zinc primer are commonly used for acid-alkali resistance.
