The waterborne inorganic zinc-rich paint, like the solvent-based inorganic zinc-rich paint, is rich in metallic zinc powder as an anti-rust pigment, which is in close contact in the paint film and tightly connected with the steel surface. It forms good electrical conductivity with the steel and plays a role of electrochemical protection. Even if the coating is partially damaged, the rust will not spread to the surrounding like other organic coatings. Since the water-based inorganic zinc-rich coating does not need to add any solvent or media solvent, the VOC value is 0.
Good cathodic protection
Good gas cutting and welding property
Good matching with epoxy paint, acrylic paint and polyurethane paint.
Good long-term corrosion prevention.
Excellent wear resistance, maximum 400℃ heat resistance, bending resistance
