Thick build epoxy zinc-rich primer is an epoxy zinc-rich primer with thick coating properties.
The thickness of 70μm~80μm can be reached by airless spraying at one time. The ordinary epoxy zinc-rich primer does not have the performance of the thick coating, and one spray is about 40μm. If it is too thick, the performance of the paint film will decrease. Under the same film thickness, the anti-rust performance and mechanical properties of ordinary epoxy zinc-rich primer are better than thick-build epoxy zinc-rich primer with the same film thickness. Medium and low film thickness, use an ordinary epoxy zinc-rich primer. High film thickness, using thick-build epoxy zinc-rich primer can save a lot of construction costs. But it has higher requirements for spray machines.

FUXI® high build epoxy zinc-rich primer can be sprayed to 80μm by high-pressure airless spray, without sag, greatly saving the construction time and related cost.
The epoxy zinc-rich primer contains more zinc dust and has a larger specific gravity. Therefore, it is prone to delamination during storage. Under normal circumstances, there will be a small amount of solvent on the surface after about a month. That is normal. As long as it is easy to stir, the coating application does not sag, and the performance meets the requirements, it can be used normally. However, if the stratification causes the zinc dust layer to be difficult to stir, and the construction is easy to sag, the quality of the zinc-rich primer is problematic and should not be used.
