Epoxy phenolic paint is a two-component product, a special paint composed of epoxy resin, phenolic resin, pigment fillers, additives, solvents, etc., and curing agents. It can be divided into epoxy phenolic primer and epoxy phenolic finish.
It is used as an anticorrosive finish for steel and as an anticorrosive coating on concrete surfaces. It is widely used on the surface of various light metal and cement structures indoor and outdoor. Epoxy phenolic paint can be used as an anti-corrosive paint for the inner wall of storage tanks containing the following liquids: crude oil, 200# solvent oil, gasoline, diesel, kerosene, heavy oil, and lubricating oil. And it can also be used as an anti-corrosive coating on the outer wall of steel equipment and pipelines with an insulation layer under dry heat of 200℃.

It has very good acid resistance, liquid acid resistance and acid mist, etc. The coating film is with dense coating structure, resistant to most solvents, and protect the substrate from corrosion. It has excellent crude oil resistance, can protect the storage tank, avoid the corrosion of crude oil impurities. The highest resistance to dry heat is 300°C. The epoxy phenolic paint is also with good wear resistance, impact resistance, excellent hardness.
Epoxy phenolic primer can be used as the primer and waiting for 24 hours after application until the primer is thoroughly dry. High-pressure airless spraying is recommended for coating epoxy phenolic topcoat. The total coating film thickness should be greater than 300 microns, which has a better protective effect on the inner wall.
