Acrylic modified alkyd finish is a one-component topcoat mainly formulated with acrylic modified alkyd resin, pigment solvents, additives. It has excellent weather resistance, good color, and gloss retention, and the paint film dries quickly, bright and full. Water based acrylic alkyd paint is mainly suitable for surface coating of outdoor steel structures and engineering machinery, also used as decorative coating for wood furniture and for indoor and outdoor decoration.

Acrylic polyurethane paint and acrylic modified alkyd finish are both brightly colored and highly decorative topcoats with good gloss. But acrylic polyurethane paint is superior to acrylic alkyd finish in terms of mechanical properties and anti-corrosion properties. Acrylic polyurethane paint is usually applied to construction machinery, bridge storage tanks, vehicles, iron towers, etc., where corrosion and weather resistance is required for a long time, and the cost of recoating is high. It is also used on machine tools, equipment that has special requirements for solvent resistance, heat resistance, and chemical resistance. Acrylic modified alkyd finish paint can be used in places where anti-corrosion requirements are not high and recoating costs are low, such as gates and guardrails of ordinary houses, equipment, and engineering vehicles.
